Al Richey
Senior Advisor, Manufacturing and Operations
Al has over 30 years of operations and supply chain experience across a diverse set of industries including; automotive, aerospace, printing, and consumer packaged goods in roles ranging from GM, VP, COO, and CEO. Also has hands-on experience with enterprise-wide ERP selection and implementations, as well as operational relocation of product lines, warehouse, and manufacturing operations. He has a passion for Lean Enterprise, risk mitigation, and keeping things as simple as possible.
He has served as GM for multi-site printing and fulfillment operations across the U.S., with the primary site for the region winning the corporate award for “Most Improved Profitability”, VP for a consumer-packaged goods company that earned the ISO:9001 & cGMP certification and Corporate-wide Safety Award.
Al was also COO for a consumer packaged goods company and CEO for a start-up manufacturing site for a consumer goods company.
His education includes a BSBA from High Point University and an MSA from Central Michigan University. Al also holds APICS CPIM and CIRM certifications, an LDP from the Center for Creative Leadership (Leadership Development Program), and training in Lean Enterprise Fundamentals.
