
Gordon Landies

Gordon Landies started his career with Beecham International in Chicago. In 1983, he joined Dynascan (Nasdaq: Cobra Radar Detectors) as Manager of Business Planning and reported to the CEO. In 1985, Gordon started a business software company, Design Software, and sold it to The Software Toolworks in Northridgen CA, in 1989 (Nasdaq TWRX). Software Toolworks bought a leading gaming company, Mindscape, in 1991. He was promoted to Executive VP of Sales in 1994 when Mindscape was sold to Pearson PLC for $462 million. Mindscape was sold to The Learning Company, and Gordon was Senior VP of Sales under its President, Kevin O’Leary.
Gordon joined the Board of Directors of E-Universe (Myspace) in 1998, which was sold to NewsCorp for $580 million in 2006.
Gordon has participated in, bought, and sold over twenty technology companies in his career.
Gordon received his undergraduate degree in Economics with honors from Elmhurst College. In 1983, he graduated from Northern Illinois University with an MBA. Gordon and his family live in Marin County, CA.
